About Your SEO Report

I build Corporate-Level SEO Plans for many of my larger clients. These 35-page corporate SEO Plans have 4 sections, one of which is an Obstacle Analysis Report (OAR), which I typically charge $499 for individually. There’s a lot more definition and micro-analyzing of specific keyword-themed pages. Stuff you wouldn’t worry as much about if you’ve already downloaded my free SEO Content Writing Guide.

So I’ve scaled it down for small business and SMB clients to get to the meat of what’s really important in terms of search engine optimization. The result was my new SEO Report that I’ll create for you personally for only $149. I’ve learned that SEO is known and searched for by 2% of 2% of the people online. I’m not concerned about scalability just quite yet (I’ll cross that road when I get to it).

Here’s what’s analyzed:

	Is there sufficient homepage content for the search engines to be able to crawl through and catalog your content easily? Or do you use all Flash or a splash page?
	Is there an HTML sitemap on your website and does it link to keyword-themed content? Google analyzes your internal linking (or intra-links) to understand your topics.
	Does your website use dynamic URLs, such as yoursite.com/index.php?item=154321 or does it use search engine friendly URLs, such as yoursite.com/topic/keyword.html? Or both?
	Do you link to any index page or to the root of the website or category? The latter prevents duplicate content issues.
	Google PageRank™ is distributed based on factors like intra-linking and subdirectory depth. Is your subdirectory depth too deep to distribute good PageRank™?
	When I visit your website, do I receive a timeout error or 404 error? Or does your web server return a 200 “OKAY” message?
	Are you using Google Analytics or Omniture to track keyword-level traffic and actions (contact form submissions, orders, revenue, etc)?
	Does every page of your website contain a unique HTML title, that follow my title tag principles?
	Does every page of your website contain a unique meta description that follows my title tag principles?
	Does your website have duplicate content issues due to the way you are or are not redirecting the prefix version of your website that contains the “www”?
	Are you using a robots.txt file, properly optimized to guide the search engines away from scripting and directly to the most important content (including an XML sitemap)?
	When I manually type in a page within your website that doesn’t exist, is there a way to navigate to the correct page or do I just get a 404 Error message?
	Google PageRank™ depreciates with volume. Do you have too many links on each page to give each one enough “voting power” to pass PageRank™?
	Visually impaired users audio to read your website. Do you have alternate text to describe the images on your website?
	Are there broken links within your website that produce a poor user experience and may cause search engines to leave your website altogether?
	Did the person who write your content borrow it from another website, making your content filtered into supplemental results, or is it all hand-written and unique?
	Does your page load quickly enough for users on slower internet connections, preventing them from returning to the search results and choosing a different result?
